Latest Version Of Android 2.2: Mobile phone company HTC has released an Android 2.2 update Froyo. HTC in its statement said, “The Android 2.2 (Froyo) update for HTC Desire will start rolling out across Europe this weekend." The company also said, "As well as including the complete set of Android 2.2 features, the update will contain a few special additions of our own through the latest iteration of HTC Sense." An O2 spokesman told, "We're working with HTC to bring the latest version of Android 2.2 Froyo to our HTC Desire customers as soon as possible. We expect this to take several weeks and we will update our customers once the new software is available."
Special Features: The new Android 2.2 update will provide a new 720p video capture and will also give you iTunes sync for your music, other features will include the App Share widget, smart Caller ID feature and much more like improved multi-language keyboard. Users of HTC Desire will be notified that the update is available over-the-air when their phone automatically checks for software updates. Also the latest version enables data processing parallelism to accelerate various functions like multi-media playback and graphics rendering. This will allow developers to produce performance intensive applications, which can be 3D gaming and VoIP clients.
