New Broadband Package Launches

Demon Internet, the internet service provider has launched a special broadband package targeted at gamers in the UK. The new package ‘Games Pro’ featuring low latency and unlimited downloads off-peak is designed to give priority to gamers while focusing on the concept of network neutrality. “There are already many things that customers can do to improve ping times on ADSL such as changing their line profile from InterLeaved to FastPath”, according to one anonymous industry source.

The package is available at price of £22 per month with a 12 month-long contract until the end of October. For three-months contract it costs around £23.99 per month. Matt Cantwell, Head of Demon said, “We know how important a good broadband connection is to the gaming community, and we are excited to be launching this product which has been designed to meet the specific needs of gamers. At Demon we appreciate that a better connection allows better gaming, and are confident that gamers will see the benefits that this service offers them."
